Dr. Tracie Quick
Quick, Tracie DVM
Dr. Tracie Quick is a native of Sumter SC. Dr. Quick received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2000) and Bachelor of Science (1996) degrees from the University of Georgia. After veterinary school she completed a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Washington State University. Post-internship she served as a temporary clinical instructor in the WSU Community Practice Program before joining SC Veterinary Emergency Care (SCVEC) in 2001. Dr. Quick became the Medical Director of SCVEC in February of 2008. When SCVEC and SC Veterinary Specialists merged in June 2013 she became Medical Director of the Emergency Service of SCVSEC.
Dr. Quick’s interests within veterinary medicine include trauma, hepatic disorders, and disorders of hemostasis. She has served the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians as President, Vice President, and Executive Board Advisor.
In her free time Dr. Quick enjoys bee-keeping, gardening, traveling, reading, and hiking. She and her husband Jamie have a handsome newborn son and 3 charming dogs (Molly, a Great Pyrenees mix; Sophie, a Golden Retriever; and Huckleberry, a Standard Poodle), a beautiful horse named Bella, a flock of funny backyard chickens, and several aquariums.
